The Quantum Universe programme consists of four mandatoryphysics courses (20 ECTS), four Quantum Universe courses (20 ECTS),four electives (20 ECTS), and a large master research project of 60ECTS. The core physics courses are mandatory for all physicsstudents, independent of the track that is followed. You willfollow Computational Physics, Advanced Quantum Mechanics,Statistical Mechanics, and Mathematical Methods of Physics. TheQuantum Universe courses are followed by both physics and astronomystudents: General Relativity, Electrodynamics of RadiationProcesses, Particle Physics Phenomenology, and Student SeminarQuantum Universe. The elective courses range in a wide variety ofsubjects, and cover the broad spectrum between theoretical physics,particle physics and astronomy.
