In the years since he has trained thousands of raw food chefs and added innumerable recipes to his repertoire”

Dr. Aris was born in Gatun, Panama Canal Zone. He is a direct descendant of an African-Caribbean family of Culinary Griots who has become a world-renowned pioneer in the area of wholesome foods. His linguistic and culinary interests have been shared with many diverse people throughout Africa, Asia, the Americas, Australia, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Dr. Aris is self-learned in the Culinary Arts, Food Science, Self-Growth and Well Being Disciplines through his personal twelve thousand-volume, “non-fiction” research library collection. He is the originator of SunfiredCuisine, and Paradise Pies.Dr. Aris, ‘The Sunfired Gourmet’, has been a vegetarian for 50 years and has eaten Sunfired Cuisine exclusively for the past 44 years.

As the founder of SunFired Gourmet, Dr. Aris has launched multiple successful restaurants, consulted for numerous food and beverage establishments, trained and mentored thousands of Sunfired RA Food chefs globally. Dr. Aris was the executive chef at the Hippocrates Health Institute, and has been invited as keynote speaker at internationally organized conferences in the United States, the UAE, Brazil, Italy, and India. Dr. Aris, the SunFired Gourmet has been featured in multiple publications and magazines, he has designed vibrant SunFired Gourmet experiences for an extensive list of celebrity clients and international dignitaries.


Having graced the palate of hundreds of thousands of hungry health seekers across the globe, at 73 Dr. Aris is actively embodying his Moto: “It Is Not The Food In Your Life, But The Life In Your Food That Nourishes!”.
